New dogs on PitaPata

This week I have been drawing new dog sliders for PitaPata. So far I have added Border Collies, Welsh Pembroke Corgis, Dobermans, Schnauzers and West Highland Terriers. There are a couple more breeds I want to add before I send out a PitaPata newsletter but this is all I have time for this week.

Autumn backgrounds for Anniversary ticker

I added some of the Autumn backgrounds from the Thanksgiving ticker to the Anniversary ticker on Daisypath.

Thanksgiving Day ticker on Daisypath

I have added a Thanksgiving Day ticker to the Holidays section on Daisypath.

Travel ticker: Oak tree and stick boy

Looking through my background drawings I found an oak tree with a yellow ribbon that hadn't been put up, so I finished it off and added it to the Travel and Vacation ticker on Daisypath. I also added a boy traveller slider.

MySpace

MySpace makes it easy to fully customise your Profile, and allows your to change the color, font and header image for your Blog. We looked into providing an "Add to MySpace" button on our sites, but found that pasting in the HTML code snippet, is more straight-forward and lets you use the tickers in more places.

When you have created a ticker on one of our sites, there is a MySpace link under the Preview image. Clicking on the MySpace link will display your ticker HTML and notes on how to add the ticker to MySpace.

Wordpress

Your tickers can also be used on Wordpress. I have added a Wordpress link to the list under the Preview image when you have created a ticker on one of our sites. There are also Wordpress help notes on all of our sites. Lilypie Wordpress help notes

Add to Blogger buttons

We have added a Blogger button to all our ticker sites to make it easier to add your Lilypie, Daisypath, LilySlim and PitaPata tickers to your blog. Once you have created a ticker, you can add it to your blog by clicking on the Blogger link under the preview image and then clicking on the Add to Blogger button in the code snippet box. For mini-tickers there is a shortcut Add to Blogger button next to your preview image.

Your ticker defaults to displaying in your side-bar but you can easily drag it elsewhere on your page, by dragging on the gadget on the Add and Arrange Page Elements page. I am putting full-size tickers above the posts and mini-tickers in the side-bar.

You can always come back and move your gadgets around later by logging in to your blog and clicking on the Design link in your menu bar at the top right.
